Siftly: Photo Cleaner

Privacy Notice

Effective date: October 1, 2026

This notice explains how Siftly handles information when you use the app. Siftly is made for organizing media stored on your device.

Media and device access

Siftly reads the photos, videos, and GIFs you choose or authorize it to access so it can display, sort, compress, and move them at your direction. Media processing and file organization take place on your device. Siftly does not upload your media or its contents to our servers. The app does not require you to create an account.

On Android, the app may request broad shared-storage access so it can scan your library. On iOS, access is limited to the folder or media access you grant. If you use Trash and confirm permanent deletion, the selected files are removed from their device location.

Analytics

Firebase Analytics helps us understand app use, feature adoption, crashes and performance trends, and subscription funnel outcomes so we can improve the app and its business over time. Analytics events may include screens and feature actions, subscription flow events, ad impressions, and purchase outcomes. We do not intentionally include photo/video contents, filenames, or folder paths in analytics events. Firebase and Google may process app-instance identifiers, device/app information, approximate location inferred from network information, and usage or diagnostic data under their terms and controls.

Advertising

The free version may show ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and its mediation or measurement partners may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, ad requests, impressions, clicks, and diagnostics to serve, measure, and prevent invalid ads. Where required, the app asks for consent using Google's consent tools; your choices and available privacy options depend on your location and device settings. Pro removes ads.

Subscriptions and purchases

Apple App Store and Google Play process payments. RevenueCat helps the app validate purchases, restore subscriptions, and determine whether the Pro entitlement is active. It receives purchase/receipt information, product and transaction status, and an app user identifier (which may be an anonymous identifier). We do not receive your full payment-card details. Store and RevenueCat processing is governed by their own privacy notices.

Service providers and sharing

We use Google Firebase/Analytics and AdMob, RevenueCat, and the platform store services to operate analytics, advertising, and subscriptions. These providers process information for those services under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your media files with these providers.

Retention and choices

Media stays on your device unless you move or delete it. Analytics and advertising choices may be available in the app, your device settings, or Google's consent/privacy controls. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data subject to your device's backup settings; it does not necessarily delete records held by app stores, analytics, advertising, or purchase providers. Contact us to ask a privacy question or request help with information handled for the app.

Children

Siftly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information through the app.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the app changes. The current version will be posted here. For privacy questions, contact yousfzaghloul@gmail.com.
